I write this with about 5 minutes left in the first half against Atlanta. This is the worst I have seen the Rockets play in a long time. This kind of effort is not just a matter of the Hawks being hot, or the Rockets not playing well. The Rockets, collectively, are playing like dogs. I see a bunch of Derrick Coleman's out there tonight. D-O-G-S. They are not hustling, not getting back on defense, not getting loose balls and not playing like a team that has a chance to make the playoffs. One would think that because the Rockets are playing shorthanded that they would pick up the effort level, but they have responded by laying down. I will never stop being a Rockets fan, but I could not be more disappointed right now. And by the way, if Walt Williams were a horse, he would have been delivered to the glue factory a long time ago.

-Elvis, who hopes the Rockets can make me look like a fool and make this respectable

You're not a fool, this is just inexcusable. They aren't even trying out there. A team that averages 88 points per game in the EAST has already scored 52, with two minutes left. There is absolutely no excuse for that. Its not like the Rockets are tired! THEY JUST HAD THREE BLOODY DAYS OFF!

Typically when you are missing both your starting PF and C your defense does suffer a little bit. [IMG]

It doesn't mean a teams is allowed to come out and give 12 percent effort. Effort should skyrocket, when players are missing.

The team is young. They're going to have games like this. Where were you when they were going 13-0 against the Central division? They've underachieved at times, they've overachieved more times...the end result is still better than anyone could have hoped. Go listen to some power pop and get a take.

Young teams generally give more effort, while veteran teams tend to cruise. The Clippers play with intensity every night, they just have terrible offense.

It continues. The Hawks are still scoring easily. Its a layup drill, yet again.

If the Hawks want to get to the line, they're getting to the line. If they want to dunk they're dunking. They are doing anything they want.

Do you blame the match for starting the fire or the one who lit it? If you're getting flamed, don't blame us... you're the one who lit the fire.

    Hey Elvis,

Accidents will happen, but tiny steps turned into a night rally, you couldn't call it unexpected, really, but the run was beyond belief. I hope you're happy now.

Eventually we'll have the opportunity to kid about it. Will we make the playoffs? It's still too soon to know.

I blame myself. I spoke too soon. I mean it, pour it on, I deserve it. All I ask is that you forget about it after tonight, because my sig says it all!

I was a match, but I'd also like to become a bucket of water.

NYRocket, blame it on cain. While I was waiting on the end of the world the angels stole my redshoes. I'm the town cryer, everybody knows. I'm just a fool whose intentions are good, please don't let me be misunderstood. I still want to tramp the dirt down on Walt Williams, though.

If we would have drafted Gregor ****er we would not have been down 23 in the first place.
