    1st
    Shaq
    TD
    KG
    Kobe
    T-Mac

TD should be in the 1st team, he's a top 3 MVP candidate.

    2nd
    Ben Wallace
    Webber
    Dirk
    AI
    Kidd

    3rd
    JO
    Marion
    Pierce
    Francis
    Marbury

Sorry I don't think Yao's numbers are good enough. At guards, maybe Nash has a chance but I think Marbury's and Francis's numbers are better. And Ray Allen and Payton most likely won't help their teams into playoffs so they're out.

On the side note, did Francis ever win All-NBA honors before?

Last time I checked, neither McGrady or Kobe are point guards...

I agree with all your picks. You're right about Yao. I don't think all nba honors are awarded to the best players at each position. So just because Yao is the 2nd best center in the league doesn't mean he'll be all nba 2nd team...or even third. I think all nba honors are given out to the best players period.

That's not how it works. The 1st Teams, 2nd and 3rd each consist of 2 guards, 2 forwards, and 1 center. And if you are multipositional, than it's only to your advantage. The only time you won't make the higher team if you have more votes is if you're clearly defined position is full. For example, if Dirk gets 500 votes, Duncan gets 600 and KG gets 600, Dirk won't make the 1st team even if Kobe and TMAC have less than 500 votes. However, both Kobe and TMAC will make the 1st Team at guard over Kidd if Kidd has less votes.
