If anyone chooses Royce White, then they have not been Rockets nor Basketball fans very long. Derek Fisher is the largest blight on Today's game. The NBAPA, the impact of flopping, the money paid to players who do nothing (really, he is the worst defender ever to play, and averages like 8/3/1 for his career), manipulating where you play..... Royce White is a tool, but this is not even a debate...
This has got to be Derek Fisher, and I don't even think it's close. Royce White was a wasted draft pick for us. It happens. Players are busts in the draft all the time. Derek Fisher has always been one of the most annoying players to ever watch. It doesn't matter which team he plays for (which just so happens to include the Lakers and Jazz)- he is always annoying and a pain to watch. Even last year in the playoffs against OKC. Plus he has plays like this (I don't know how to embed videos): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_EMke5Rxlk Or like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEYwPLnye1k
I remember seeing that elbow on Scola with some of my friends who were laker fans. The announcer kept trying to play it off as a "tough" play, but they just cringed.
I disagree. Who are you thinking of by A LOT of talent? Sullinger? Plumlee? Zeller? Nicholson? Fournier? Not bad players but I wouldn't lose too much sleep over missing out on those guys. Those are role players, not starts
My dislike for Fisher is not even rational. I can't stand the sight of him. He is the only reason that I want the Thunder to lose every game. If he weren't there, they would be one of my favorite teams. (except maybe for Westbrook)
You must be a new Rocket fan.....2003. Derek Fisher...Luis Scola...Lakers ........and you say RW hands down?
He was traded to us in some package, I forget which. He bought himself out, almost a dollar on the dollar, we basically didn't give him anything salary wise (shows how much he wanted to be here). He then went to OKC.
