List of video game musicians from Wikipedia for reference:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_game_musicians
Wikipedia is pretty good at providing info on the composers of certain games, so feel free to use that if you don't know who created (or helped create) a game's soundtrack.

If you can't find it or just don't want to go through all that, feel free to just list a particular game or franchise (EX: Final Fantasy, Oblivion, God of War, Silent Hill, etc.).

Word. I still think SoR2 is one of the best games ever made, and the music is just part of the reason.

My overall #1 has to be Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, Xenosaga I).

Tied for 2nd with whoever did SoR2 would be whoever did Guilty Gear X2.

Nobuo Uematsu, although Yasunori Mitsuda comes in as a close second.

special mention is all those shinobi games, shinobi, revenge of shinobi

not everyone played final fantasy not everyone had a playstation.
    but everyone played streetfighter.

the arcade, saturn, genesis, ps1, ps2, xbox, snes, MAME Emulator, xbox 360, Wii Arcade

you put that music where those stupid anime blocky characters in final fantasy make some corny dialogue

    vs

    RYU's STAGE

what do you think people would recognize? or say was better?

people trash talk about streetfighter, who trash talks about final fantasy? except that its trash

and when the music goes faster, you know the round is almost over..too classic!
