It's been a long off-season, and I'm sure some of you, after reading this, will say it's about to get longer...:)

Who is your favorite "unsung hero" to play for the Rockets? I just listed a few, if there are others, feel free to post them. Mine's Tierre...I hope he doesn't get only one vote...

EDIT- I like all these players and think they were all great to watch and root for. I know plenty of you out there feel the same way. As hard as it is, please choose your favorite!

Scotty Brooks, all the way. The guy was like Michael J. Fox playing basketball. He probably had even less talent than Matt Maloney. If Brooks can do it, anyone can.

Cuttino Mobley. Its sickening how so many Rockets fans hate him and think he is no good.

I think you have to go with Chucky Brown on this one. He played his ass off when it counted.

people seem to forget how important Otis Thorpe was to this team. Hell he got traded to a Hall of Famer. I bet every Rocket fan wish we hade an-OT type player next to MIng right now.

Brent Price (if only he wasn't injury prone)
Cuttino (obvious reasons if u call him a role player)
Walt Williams (did have skill, just had a fat contract here)
Carlos Rogers (when he was shootin like 90%fg!!!)
Cato (guy just needed to find his role on the team)

That is my all favourite underrated role player team!

How can you pick against Chucky Brown! He had to go against Malone, Barkley, KG, Rodman, Ho Grant. He was the definative scrapper, busting his ass alongside the great one. A real never-say-die hard hat.

Wood could throw down and did so on occasion. I loved him.

    Also loved Craig Ehlo.

However, I am very disappointed that no one else has mentioned Jim Petersen. :(

EDIT: I forgot Bobby Joe Reid and Allen "my beard makes me look like Barry White" Leavell.
