Well.. technically Donaghy.. since it he pretty much bet, hence controlling the games he ref'd. But all refs are the same, I hate them all. ..and isn't Bavetta too old to ref? I mean wasn't he like 109 years old 10 years ago? is it THAT difficult to find a ref for the NBA?
I don't necessarily think he's the worst ref, but I can't stand Bennett Salvatore. I've seen him blow more calls than I can count. One time I saw a brief part of an interview he gave and his smugness made me sick. If I had a vote for worst NBA ref: Violet Palmer. Seems like she gets overruled on a regular basis by other refs after blowing obvious possession calls. You can also see that a lot of NBA players have no respect for her at all.
Contrary to popular belief, Violet Palmer is not as bad as people think she is. I would say she is bad but there are worse ones. She just stands out on every bad call being made because she is a female.

Bennett Salvatore. Chances are if you know the name of a ref besides Steve Javie, he's doing a piss poor job.
Palmer gets on my nerves because she never admits she is wrong. There is seemingly no leeway, never a "my bad". Like she has to compensate for being a woman by being an ass.
Not sure, but the NBA must be the only pro sport on where every fan knows about 90% of the officials names. That´s not good.
That one chick who did the Rockets games. She was god AWFUL. I rememeber many blown calls in 1 game that she made that were over turned after a meeting with the other refs who told her she was wrong.
I'm saying Violet Palmer until someone can actual put a name to the scrub third ref that bungles calls worse than her. Joey Crawford is annoying, but not bad as far as his actual game calling. Bavetta plays favorites, but I like him. Danny Crawford plays favorites in a worse manner. Ken Mauer can be too quick with the techs. Bennett Salvatore is a home-cooker. Joey Crawford isnt that bad... hes just a tough guy and he seems bad because of his "ruggedness" but Tony Brothers is just plain bad and he knows it
