Who is the worst player you would trade for Yao Ming?

    If you were the Rockets General Manager, and you were getting all these trade proposals for Yao Ming, who would be the worst player that you would actually trade for him. Please don't say you wouldn't trade Yao Ming for anybody, that's being ridiculous. If it were me, the worst player I would trade for Ming would probably be Jermaine O'Neal.

    LeBron James.

    In fact, he's the only player outside of: Kobe, TMac or Kevin Garnett I'd even consider.

    The way I look at it is that Jermaine O'Neal has already proven himself to be a star. Yao Ming has proven he has substantial potential. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, and we probably would have given Memphis a top 5 pick if it wasn't for Ming, but I think JO would be a better, and sure fit. Especially since Cato has proved he has greatly improved in the league. But all the respect to Ming nonetheless. And plus, I only said that JO would be the worst player, I wouldn't even consider someone lower than him.

    Its only 2 players i would trade Ming , Shaq and Duncan thats it. As a game changer, no one else compares really. I love Garnett,Kobe, and McGrady, but neither can impact the game like Duncan and Shaq.

    Shaq? Really? He has probably 2 years left in him.

    If I owned and ran The Rock, the worst player I would trade Yao for would be Dirk or Garnett, a big man with some semblance of marketability. There is just no telling how good Yao could end up being and no limit how much money he will make the organization.

    Yao Ming is a franchise player and I'd expect someone on that caliber in return. However, the trade would also have to be for someone as young as Yao with that much potential, or someone who has established the fact that he can be a one-man wrecking crew if need be. How many can you name? Shaq, Duncan, T-Mac, KG, maybe Kobe...there aren't that many in the league. Yao isn't untouchable, but he's damn close.

    Are you serious??

    I wonder how many points, rebounds, and blocked shots per game Yao would have had for James' high school team last year?

    theres only 1 other person id trade yao for, and thats duncan. duncan= championships now, yao = championships later.

    NO ONE! You dont trade YAO! A BIG MAN...7'5 with great athletic ability and I mean GREAT ability at his size and he was only a rookie and played the way he did. And those who say LeBron...COME ON...the kid was a HS player last year and has only done one thing, gotten alot of media hype. He is a 6'8 forward/guard, big wooptie. I watched some of his games, he did nothing special.

    Not any player. Yao Ming is Yao Ming, no other player is worthy. This is what you expected isnt it? The only player I would trade Yao Ming for and they would both be at their PEAK is Wilt the Stilt[The greatest player of NBA Basketball].
