In response to thread the other day asking who the 3rd most important Rocket is, which assumed CP3 was #2.

In games Capela was out last year we were 3-5 and looked lost. We were really good in 2016 without CP3 and nearly won game 7 WCF without him.

Don't get me wrong cp3 is vitally important but I think Capela is more important to the team.

I chose CP3 but if Marquese Chriss can get with the program he can quickly become that go to guy. Even more than Capela. That's an Empire State Building sized "if".

Hmm, well I dont think 8 games is an appropriate amount to judge on. Also I will say some of those games were played without Harden as well so its even harder to give credence to that. As for the WCF thing.... I dont think we dont win game 4 or 5 without CP.

Just to make another case here, CP3 all season led the league in RPM(either him or Harden were one and 2, cant remember).

That's a good question. I would like to think so. Maybe if they were to buckle down more on defense and spread the ball around more. Who knows?

It's 1 and 1A so 2nd most important is Melo. He will be taking most of Ariza's minutes which were mostly net+. Our success relies on his +/- .

Harden and Chris Paul are joint number 1's. I voted PJ and EG as joint 3's, but now I would say they are joint 2's in importance. Clint is number 3 in my opinion.

No, both of them were critical to our team's success.

I think yall are caught up on past performance. Cp3 is an established star but Capela is the up and coming stud. Without cp3 we can still hold our ground. With no Capela we are dead in the water.

The question is not "who is the bigger star," and honestly I think this is how most of yall are processing this.
