    What do you all think?

I have to think it was probably Mike James because of the possiblity of acquiring him by trade. But, he claims he has always liked Steve Francis. And he is very clear about wanting to see what Pippen could do? Was he talking about one of these guys, or somebody else not named?

I think it was Eduardo Najera. JVG is in love with him

He's a very nice player and the only cheap player that can attempt to guard the Nowitzkis and Marions and also the more prototypical 4's like Garnett

Don't see it. Not when we have Hayes. Don't see Najera being able to even slow down Marion, or Garnett for that matter. Possibly Dirk.....a little, but not much.

I'll say Pippen. JVG looks at him like Deke. Same body type, coupled with his bball IQ and wisdom, JVG feels like if he still has something in the tank he can really help the team, especially in the post season...

Seeing that Pippen was a FA and Francis has a huge contract and we are talking about trades here, it's Mike James.

Mike James is the only one we have repeated confirmed reports on as fars as trades go.

Mike James would have been upgrade over Bonzi, however, I really don't know what we could have offered to offset Eddie's contract. V-Span + Novak? Why would the T-wolves do it? Instead of paying EG not to play they would have to pay V-Span and Novak not to play. What's the diff? J-Tsak would have been ideal for them considering that he is expiring, however, I don't think we can trade him so soon.

Bonzi for Sweetney would have been a bad trade for us.

It was Scottie Quitten. Read Clutch's article at the top of the page.

LOL, no. James would have been an upgrade over Lucas, VSpan, Novak and Tsakalidis. That's it.
