People talk bad about this guy, but I think Phil Helmuth is by far the greatest Holdem Player right now.

I'm kinda split between johnny chan & Phil Ivey (for tournament). But i'll give Ivey the nod overall, i'm just amaze at Ivey ability to read people & make solid play throughout.

    One of my fav......

I like that Jesus guy with the hat. Never seen him play, but he looks fun. And I really don't like Phil Helmuth. He's really good but he seems like a total jackass.

He gets annoyed at suck outs, I can understand why he is that way, those are frustrating, you trap your opponent and they suck out......just pisses you off.

I like Daniel as the best.

Luck's an important part of the game no doubt...but there's a reason why there are people whose sole profession is to play poker.

Many of the same people end up making it to the final rounds of poker tournaments every year, implying there's a lot of skill involved as well.

    Exacty.

for as great as he is in tournaments, i'm utterly amazed at his inability to adjust to the cash game.

    Johnny is the best.
I like Phil too but he hasn't won a major yet.
    Helmuth is a joke.

nope. poker isn't played hand to hand, but rather over many hands. it's not making a read on hand one that will determine your success, but rather picking up on something that you can use later on.

it's more intuition and strategy than luck.
