Companion to "who should be the leader" poll.

Final possession. We are down by 2. Who takes the shot?

Harden has the best ability to drive for a layup/called foul.

Paul is known to make cold blooded shots.

Drive and dish to Gordon/Ariza etc?

Who is going to be the go-to guy down the stretch?

This is tough, but Carmelo has been one of the most clutch players in the NBA for a while now. I like him having the ball at the end of games.

What does it matter? Coach will draw up a play, hopefully the players execute and create a quality shot. With this roster, nearly everyone will have the ability to score if they receive the ball when and where intended.

Well what about the final 2mins of a close game in general, or a no timeouts situation? Does cp3 run the point? I could easily see this type of situation becoming a point of contention between cp3 and james if a closer is not established.

Just want to discuss this kind of stuff now instead of when it happens and emotions trump logic.

why does it need to be estabished? its a case to case basis, depends on who's hot, depends on the favoreable matchup, see what the defense does and react

its not a season to season basis

If Harden feels like it's the right play to dish to Paul, he will. If Paul feels like it's the right play to dish to Harden, he will. Rinse and repeat.

Why wouldn't CP3 run the point? Do u think that Harden is gonna dominate all the possessions and just have CP3 standing in the corner in crunch time? They will both have their opportunities with the ball in their hands, but CP3 will likely be the one dictating most of the decisions, and he should because he's the point gawd.

I've seen Chris Paul be clutch as hell. He's an alpha, but so is Harden. We will see, I'm guessing it's going to be both, different games one will take over more then the other..

Harden was considered one of the top clutch player a couple seasons ago.
