Over the last few years who been the biggest rocket killers?

Here are the ones I can think off

Kobe - well he kills every team
    Dwill -
Boozer - He hits too many jump shots
    Okur
    Broy
    Jason Terry
    chris paul

Of all these guys I might have to go with Dwill. He always hits big threes at the end

When I think of a "Rockets Killer" I think of players who play way over their averages against Houston.

I mean, if a player averages 20ppg for the season, and is averaging 19ppg against Houston, wouldnt that be below his averages???

But if a player averages 18ppg on the season, and averages 25ppg against the Rockets, that to me would be a Rocket killer.

Kobe isnt a Rocket Killer, he is a league killer so to speak. The Rockets are just one of the many teams that get his wrath.

    Some classic Rocket Killers are:

    Jason Terry
    Sam Perkins(Sonics)
    Derek Harper(Mavs/Knicks)

Kobe, although we've never played against him in the playoffs recently

For playoff...prolly Deron Williams and Jason Terry, and even that fat ass Okur too

In the Yao era, Jason Terry without a doubt.

He still gives me nightmares with the amount of crazy dagger shots he makes.

i was just about to say that. He used to kill the rox. It seems like every open shot he made, steals, defense, just everything. Harper used to kill the rox also, but he was one of the best pg in the league in his era. also KJ used to drop huge numbers, but the rox wuld win. Didnt he have 40 and 18 in the playoffs vs us?

This year? Kobe, hands down. Shane and Ron can play textbook defense on him and he'll still pull up and bury impossible shots. There's not much you can do when that happens without fouling.

I think after hearing about how Shane can stop Kobe, he is out to prove something, but he also seems to hit big shots against every other team to so I am not sure.

KJ scored 46 or 47 against Houston in the game 7 matchup that the Rockets won with Elie's kiss of death 3. He was unstoppable.

It seems like the entire Jazz team is a Rockets killer.

Aside from the Jazz, Jason Terry and Jerry Stackhouse were always the biggest Rockets killers.

He had alot of assist also. That was their plan though. Let KJ get his, barkley get his, and choke everyone else off. Thats why Marjle never did anything versus the rockets.

i don't consider boozer and and okur as killers cause they are just bad matchups there is nothing you can do from stopping them to score.

but guys who kill us are guys we are capable of guarding.

jason terry- i hate him a lot, battier or tmac(when healthy) are capable of guarding him and do guard him but he always makes shot with a hand in his face.

kobe bryant- I dont know about you guys but i feel like he has the highest scoring average against us than any other team in the league, especially in the past 3-4 yrs where he has had mutiple 50 pt games on us and mutiple 4th qtr daggers. battier, artest and tmac(when healthy), all have the physical tools to guard him. but the guy is just too good to stop.

DWill- I have not seen him score 35 or 40 pts with rafer guarding him, maybe I am wrong but he does hit some daggers on us.

There's no individual can kill the rockets.

    Kobe+Gasol+Fisher
    DWill+Boozer+Okur
    A.Miller+New AI+Dalembert
    Parker+Duncan+K.Thomas

    the Fans!

    Who leave early

dont shout boo and wave your fliers when opponents are at the line

who dont shout boo at bad calls

who leave at the beginning of the fourth (redundant I know)

who dont show up!!! (with exception to company owned tickets)

who dont show support to a individual after a bad game and make them think its their fault if they was to ever read the garm
