Can somebody tell me the name of that goatee sporting bald guy who replaced Jayson Williams. I'm just curious who he is and what teams he played for.

AllI know is that he used to play and was such a scrub that I can't even remember his name... His jokes suck too.

I actually like Tolbert. He adds some personality to the broadcast. And, he wasn't that much of a scrub. He was a Scott Pollard type player.

Well, you can only do so much with Tolbert's basketball career. :)

He used to play for the Warriors in the Run-TMC era, and longtime GS fans (i.e., not me) remember him fondly for the year the Warriors upset the Spurs in the playoffs with the 6'7" Tolbert (in true Nellie-ball fashion) playing center against David Robinson.

He's been co-hosting an afternoon sports-talk radio show for a few years out here in the Bay Area, on the same station that carries most Warriors games. I rarely listen to it, but it's popular enough that when the Warriors play weekday road games in other time zones, the games are broadcast on a different station so they don't interfere with Tolbert's show.

I liked him, but bear in mind this is the dying throes of OF NBC's NBA coverage. Is Barkley working for NBC during the playoff's?
