This whole week is just so funny to me. First Krause trades Elton Brand for #2 and Brian Skinner. Didn't he know that MJ was offering Richard Hamilton and #1 for Brand. The Bulls could of easily walked away with Kandi, Magette, or who knows what clipper player to land Brand.

Then Vancouver trades Bibby for Jason Williams? Did Vancouver know that Jordan was trying to push for Bibby as well. I mean the Kings would of probably given Jason Williams away for free at this point, why did'nt they push for Turkuglo or somebody added to Jason Williams that was worth Bibby.

Its old news now, but what idiots!

I really don't want to defend that idiototic trade by the Memphis Grizzlies, but washington got cold feet on that deal. From what I understand, memphis was ready to send the 6th pick in the draft and bibby for the first pick. Micheal wanted some player, battier, I think, and was afraid he wouldn't be there at the sixth pick, so the trade didn't go through. This deal was reported by the commercial appeal in memphis, and it did not fully explain why the trade didn't re-emerge when battier was on the board.

Also, on the memphis side, they really wanted richardson not battier, but they had to settle for him when the warriors took richardson a pick ahead of them.

The trade was Brand, Crawford and Voskuhl for the number one....which was way too much for the Bulls to pay. Crawford was the deal-breaker.
