Who is our Houston Rockets captain for 2010-2011 Season?

It would probably be best if AB. We need AB to take on more of a leadership role with the team. I think it would be good for him and the team.

 

Scola and Battier...Heart and Soul

 

I know we had 2 capts the last time around and Hayes was one. I don't think MerGady was ever a captain in this team. He said so himself, he's not too vocal or something.

I'm hoping Yao would take over the reigns this season, despite only playing limited minutes. Scottier is probably more realistic. I don't see AB taking on that role. It sounds ridiculous, but he's too tiny.

 

Seems weird that so many people said Battier, even though every offseason, an insane amount of people seem completely confident that he should and will be traded.

I placed the vote for Battier. No better option.

Really a non-issue because all of these guys could do fine and it's not really an overly important rule, but yeah, Shane and Chuck or Shane and Luis.

 

battier needs to show brooks how it's done for the future.

I was inclined to choose Scola, but Battier would be more vocal and articulate, and also just has his 'Battier' rep.

Trust me I lived in a foreign country and learned a 2nd language, I know how hard it is - still, it's a limitation for someone who will be giving impromptu speeches and kicking his team into gear.

 

I think it's Shane or KL.

Lowry shows leadership every time he plays.

 

Why would it be any different this year, especially with Ariza gone? It's definitely Battier and chuck again. No one else is really qualified except for yao and scola, but both will have trouble getting the right words out because english is their second language.

Maybe have Yao or Scola trying to do impromptu speeches before games would be good. It'll be good for the comedy effect more than anything and relaxes the boys.
