Why would you put Battier on that list? How about Lucas, or Novak. Battier, Yao, and TMAC are all on this team next year, guaranteed

Luther might be going but only because he has value in a trade. As far as expendable, there were two players who were clearly the worst on the rockets last year, one of whom was too cool to play on the rox summer league team and is sulking in is tzatziki right now...

I don't think it's the only reason he's going but I do think
it's the primary reason he's going...as I stated we have other
options when shoting 3's are concerned plus we have a glut of
    PG'S now.

there is a difference between expendable and tradable asset.

Battier and Head are tradeable assets but can we even find a taker for rafer? does anyone in the league want him?

Les Alexander. After that, it'd have to be Luther Head. Why?

    1.) He has value
    2.) He's a guard

Since we can really only trade away guards, and those with value are worth something, he's the most expendable. Get us a 4.

If we can trade Battier and a guard for a big man, then lets do it.

Someone who didn't play hardly at all and someone who played almost continously are neck and neck. Tells you a great deal. I sincerely hope we keep VSpan and ship Rafer. I don't care how well you dribble the ball, in the NBA you have to hit shots. Opps, VSpan may be gone too.

You can bash Luther a a lot of things, but being unable to shoot the three ball is NOT one of them. (regardless of his LONE ROOKIE playoff appearance last season)

I do not think that VSPAN is the most expendable. Like the Rockets organization said before they like VSPAN style and would like to keep him. I think they believe that he could be something special for them. However he's not secure - he could easily be traded but I think Luther Head is the one that is going. After getting Aaron Brooks and Mike James - Luther Head is now expendable plus he has more value than VSPAN.

Rafer Alston also is expendable but I don't know any team that would want him.

What this tells me is that 5.8% of the people that took the poll are not that knowledgeable about basketball.

    Who's bashing Luther??
I also stated that because he is tradeable (meaning that he is an asset)
he will likely be the one traded...and seeing that we now have
Alston,Brooks,James,JL3 ect. we no longer need him as a ball handler....
and Novak is supposed to be our best 3point shooter...

Rafer, with the new direction the NBA is going, a guy that can not hit a layup nor draw a foul is worthless.

I'd like to say Rafer and VSpan are both expendable. One has to go, maybe both will. I don't know how much value either really has. I'd rather get rid of Rafer, just because I know what he can't do (I'm still not sure I've seen what he can do other than throw up bricks). I really don't like Rafer, and although I understood the logic the Rockets had behind trading for him, I've never wanted him on this team.

Spanoulis is the most expendable for sure because his role has been completely taken away by Mike James and Aaron Brooks, but the problem is he can't fetch anything in a trade, while the others can. I'm still voting for him though.
