who is more valuable/better fit for this team? does these lenovo stats show that we're better off with alston and find some one better than hayes as a starter?

unless they have a guaranteed pf from free agency who is better than hayes I think they should have drafted a pf first

There is no need for statistic to prove this point.

As of now, Chuck is obviously more valuable. Thats using the same criteria for last year on why Rafer was the more valuable - Lack of Other Options

As far as tradable assets and as individual players, Rafer is more valuable. But in relation to the team's current makeup, Chuck is more valuable since we don't currently have anyone else at the 4. At this point we could get rid of Rafer but not Chuck.

I guess my question is kind of late.. as per our pre draft situation, should the rockets have prioritized getting someone who can be starting ahead or take significant minutes away from alston OR hayes?

Right now, Chuck is more valuable because he's our only real power forward. That doesn't mean I want him starting. As for Rafer, I'm okay with him starting during the season I guess but we need more scoring from SOMEONE starting or it's another first round exit.

chuck because we're thin at pf, but overall rafer is if you disregard need.

Just put Rafer at the PF position and Hayes at the PG and you would know :D

    The answer is neither.

You put anyone with Tmac, Battier and Yao and they are going to look good in stats.

    Anyone.
