everyone is surprised that someone would even mention bringing james harden off the bench but no one questions it when the spurs bring manu ginobili off the bench. are you all saying that james harden > manu ginobili?
In his prime Manu was amazing. If he was healthy he would have been right behind Kobe and Wade. Manu can carry a team. We still need to see if Harden can carry a team. He has potential.

They are seriously mirror images of each other, almost weird. They are similar but Harden can potentially reach a higher peak than Manu due to his young age. Harden's efficiency last season has never been matched even by Manu.
Manu has had the better career, but when you factor in his age and recent injury history, Harden is probably the better player right now and moving forward.
of course Manu. Manu is a very good defender even now, while Harden is below average. But Harden has potential to top Manu, imo. Ginobili wasn't this good at 23, he was just scratching the surface of his potential in Europe at the time. Harden is further ahead.
