I know that after the draft workouts we will know. But there is always a guy who unexpectedly drops (rashard lewis). So, any guesses ? i think it will be dermarr johnson. Some have projected him as high as 6, but i have a feeling he could fall to 15 or 16 (not sure who is picking there).
dermarr isnt a well developed player right now, thus if he can't hit his jumper consistently, teams will think he can't do anything else.
I think he has one of the highest ceilings in the draft though.

One thing I have been able to discern is that PG's who aren't great scorers tend to plummet on draft night. The three most notable are Jacque Vaughn, Andre Miller, and Brevin Knight. I expect to see guys like Cleaves, Pepe Sanchez, and Ed Cota go later than expected (which in some cases may mean falling out of the draft), with scoring PG's like AJ Guyton rising up to take their place.

It also seems like seniors have droped quite a bit lately, with guys like John Wallace watching as the picks go by. I think Mo Pete might fit this profile, and could drop to at least the 19th pick.

    I second DJ dropping.

I see Cleeves being late first, is that dropping?

Najera will be mid to late 2nd.

Andre Miller went number 8 which was pretty much where he was suppose to land in a best case scenario.

Vaughn was always projected to be a fringe late 1st round draft pick along with Knight, so they didn't really drop like let's say a John Wallace, Reggie Freeman, or Rashard Lewis.

Najera would be a great pickup at #38. Either him or Eddie House.

The two highschoolers might drop. Stenvenson because of character issues(cheated on SAT? maybe) Miles cause he's as dumb as a brick. But they'll drop mainly bcause they aren't ready for the NBA. Miles and Stevenson are coming out because they have to, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett came out because they could.

But none of the top four(Martin, Mihm, Swift, Fizer) will drop.

Look for the high schoolers to drop. Deshawn Stevenson and possibly even Darius Miles. The fact that Rashard Lewis seems to have panned out will help them but one of those two will probably drop out of the lottery and possibly out of the first round. Most likely Stevenson. After that I would agree that Dermarr Johnson will drop. Mihm because of his lack of fire and Fizer because of his height are also possibilities. They won't drop out of the lottery but they could drop out of the top five.

Puedlfor -- I think Miles could go play for St. Johns right now and Kevin Garnett couldn't pass his SATs .... thus by the same rules he "had" to come out.

I can see DeShawn Stevenson dropping but doubtful on Miles... maybe teams are scared off because of Jonathan Bender last season (though it was just his rookie year off his final H.S. season) but I expect Miles' stock to remain high.

I'm not talking about SAT's. I saw Miles being interviewed(on Up Close, I think) and he's dense.

And although KG had to come out, he knew he would be good, cause back then what he did was rare. Before him it was Moses Malone, Dawkins and JUCO-dropout Kemp. Same with Kobe, he had a high enough grades and a score on the SAT to get into some colleges based purely on merit, but he knew he had the skills for the big show.

Miles and Stevenson don't have that same confidence in their game and they aren't nearly the players that Kobe and KG were.

As for Bender, he landed in a situation where he will be given time to develop, like Kobe did in LA. Miles will still go high, but I think he'll go at 7 to Chitown.

Oh, and Stevenson might be crazy. When he first declared for the draft, he said his parents were "trying to hurt Adidas" because they wanted him to get a college education. His agent has messed up that kid's mind.
