Im writing this thread because this has come up time and time again.
Oh like we can easily just trade Mo, Clearance, and Juwan.

Just because we are stupid catfish biting on some cheap bait doesn't mean we can drop these dude in the water and other teams will swarm them like hungry sharks off the coast of florida.

look at the Knicks, they had to waive Shandon Anderson cause nobody wanted him. I fear we have to do the same thing if we want to progress.

    Going fishing again guys.

I think we could trade them to the NBDL for James Thomas.

The funny thing is, Spoon would probably be the most popular because his contract is coming off the books. The only way I see we can get rid of Mo or JH would be to take on a bad contract, and seeing how both of these guys also have bad contracts it's going to be hard to find that. The best I can think would POSSIBLY be packaging one of them with a draft pick to move up, or send them with the trade exception to take on an expiring high dollar contract (but I don't think we'll get that lucky). If you as me we're stuck with both of them.

I'm a strong advocate for buying out Taylor, but that may have to wait until the summer. No sense in cutting someone with no FA replacements around. You need the other guy ready to come on board before clearing the roster spot.

The only way I see us getting rid of one them is by packaging them with our 1st round pick. Right now that is the most tradeable asset we have besides Yao and TMac.

How proposing a trade to Rudy and the Lakers?

Rockets send: Mo Taylor (Rudy's Guy) Boki (another Rudy Guy) and Lue

Lakers send: Brian Grant and Kareem Rush

Why is it that when someone like Yao or T-Mac struggles, we blame the coaching staff, the GM, the trainers - everyone except the player - but when a guy like Howard (who has averaged 17 points and 7 rebounds over his career) is struggling, it's all his fault?

    Just wondering.

Because Howard is to Tinman what Karla is to most of us.

Which came first, the picture or the thread?

My guess is that the pic was made and then a reason to post it was figured out.

T-Mac=Leading scorer in the NBA Last Year
    Yao=All Star Center Last Year

Howard=as I posted a million times. Deceiving stats. plays lots of garbage time to get his 17 and 7.

    1. Huge contract most of his career =demands playing time
    2. Lots of blowouts when with Magic/Wizards/Nuggets, therefore playing in garbage time against bench warmers.

Tmac and Yao=young stars (should not stuggle this bad) and FOCUS of offense
Howard=not focus, but expected to have rebounds than Bobby Sura

JEFF, you've watched the games, you tell me what's wrong with Howard.

I didnt mention Kenny Smith or fishing in the title of the thread.
Just an analogy of fishing and attempting to trade players.
The main reason of the thread is still speculation of trading our PFs, but in reality, what idiot GM would do it?

Also that pic might predict the outcome our season.

I'm a genius. Plus you like my post or you wouldnt reply.

I agree with you man, I have never liked him and usually refer to him as Juwanaman Howard. Dude put up meaningless #'s on BAD teams and never led a team anywhere therefored he is entitled to criticism especially since for his days in washington he was paid over $100 million. If I were CD, I would be calling the Nets and trying to get ZO and a throw in for Howard or Taylor, preferabily Howard. ZO can hit the jumper, but more importantly be physical inside, block at least 3 shots a game and grab 8-9 boards and intimidate some of those players who drive in and float the ball over Yao all the time. If that's not reasonable, why not contact the Hornets who are probably going to pack it in for the season and try to get rid of some of their players. PJ Brown would be another great fit here, I don't know that we have anything they want though. I heard Kenny Thomas has fallen out of favor in Philly and althouh he is undersized and overpaid, he can rebound and be physical inside. I am sure Philly would take Howard or Taylor for him; There are options out there, I just hope CD is working the phones.

I'll admit that I was little excited that Howard was included in the deal. I thought he would be able to come in and atleast get some boards, and boy was I wrong.

The problem is that right now, our PFs trade value is ZERO. IF we want to make a deal with them, JVG needs to showcase them for a couple games and prey they play well.

The season has been pretty bad. This is the worst season since we got Pippen. During that season I was EXCITED we got Pippen. Boy was I wrong about that guy. Proves that Michael Jordan was really the man. I thought Pippen was an upgrade from Horry, WRONG.

Mo Taylor is proving me wrong this season so far. I thought he was alot better than Juwan. But not the case.

Have you noticed all the MICHIGAN players we got are crap?

    Juwan
    MO Taylor
GLEN RICE, when he was with the Rockets, I think Bullard could have beat him blindfolded in the 3 point shooting contest

THe best Michigan player is Webber and he's soft too.
