imo we will never go anywhere until we replace yao and tmac. and I am not saying get rid of them. I am saying replace em. sure it wouldn't do any good to just get rid of them and become the thunder. every year we say the same things.... "IF ONLY WE WERE HEALTHY" well it aint happening with this crew fellas. :(

I have never excused any Rockets player. My analysis had only one purpose, trying to find a positive scenario that the Rockets can win this season. That may be too optimistic. However, I have no problem with other fans sounding a negative opinion of T-Mac. That is called freedom of speech.

I see a lot of fans are now at a stage where they have given up on T-Mac. They would rather T-Mac not play for the Rockets ever again. That is a possibility. I have analyzed the the resulting scenario in my previous posts also. I don't believe the Rockets can do well as some posters have hoped. T-Mac will get to sit for 2 seasons with 21 mil and then 22 mil while the Rockets are limited by cap room.

Meanwhile, I believe the Rockets team is trying to force the issue. They are trying to force T-Mac to either play or retire. If T-Mac reitres, the Rockets will regain cap room. Seems to me at least some one is trying to do something positive in a negative situation.

Don't put Yao and T-Mac in the same sentence ok??

Yao is out there, STILL fighting, still playing.

T-Mac is the one who's sitting out.

The vast majority of Rocket fans still support Yao Ming, except for the haters. There are many haters here on this message board.

But I believe Yao Ming is vastly supported by most of the fans.

T-Mac is also vastly supported by most of the fans. Maybe YOU are one of those terrible fans who have given up on the Rockets. If so, please leave this board, and go elsewhere. We don't need such fans. Thank you.

Over the years, my Madness towards Rafer has grown steadily stronger and stronger with each and every stop-&-pop, floater, and brickety-brick-3.

been a fan since 91. i am only 23 yrs old and I am just calling it like I see it. you can't deny that yao is also injury prone. And how am I a horrobile fan? I really want the rockets to perform at the level they are capable of. I am sorry, but I will not sit here and smile for nothing

Yao may have had injuries, but he's PLAYING RIGHT NOW. How can you diss Yao if he's out there PLAYING game in, game out??

    That's not being a fan. That's being a hater.

If you don't like the Rockets, find another team to root for. It's that simple.

sell low. bc it feels good now.

did anyone ever consider that T-Mac might just have injuries that do in fact hurt a damn lot? he might not be faking. he might actually be injured and did not choose to be injured. i know it hurts to consider bc then there's no one to blame, and we're damn good at blaming people.

i swear the garm is so damn lame sometimes.

There are two players on this team we shouldn't trade this year and they are Yao and Tmac. Tmac will be back, and honestly I would rather him sit out now and try to prepare for the playoffs. Now if we are talking trades then I would put Rafer, Head, Hayes, and maybe even Artest out there to shop around.

I am not dissin yao's game, I am just saying that he is never healthy. We can't win with our top players missing atleast 25% of the season every year. this league is too tough. I am so sick of the fans that are too blind to see what is going on with our team. It is not about yao or tmac being bad ppl. Its just that if we wanna win then we have to have our star players remain healthy and have more durability examples: kobe and duncan

Kobe and Duncan had health issues just recently. Kobe has surgery for his knees. Duncan had foot ailments. Injuries happen.

I don't think he is faking, I am just saying that he is always hurt and yao as much as it pains me to say this, you know he is gonna miss sometime sooner or later

    Useless GARM posters.

Just ten months ago the same Tracy McGrady was carrying this team on a balky back, an injured knee and a sore ankle to 22 straight wins, and would have possibly taken them to the 2nd round of the playoffs if Rafer Alston hadn't gone down with injury as well. Then all the rage was about how Yao's career was doomed because big men with foot injuries never recover.

Fast forward to present and now McGrady is being ostracized because he can't just ignore his injured knee and be a superstar regardless.

You people are ridiculous. Starting with DD. Irrational human beings, all of you.

i can see where durability issues could be determental to one's psyche, especially someone as talented as mcgrady. my dream would be for him to figure this whole thing out and then comeback and contribute to this team. i don't think it's fair to say he doesn't want that because imo, mcgrady's has shown the desire to win and to do what it takes, his body just hasn't held up his part of the bargain.

Ya because Adelman is a damn moron and keeps playing our big man almost the whole game with no decent center back up Yao will be hurt by the All Star break.

Objectively, it looks like Yao and TMac are past their peaks, and declining more rapidly than expected. They are both in their twenties, but injuries have taken their toll. My expectations that they will take the Rockets anywhere have greatly diminished. They were never really aggressive players anyway, and now they appear very "beaten down." It is sad, but they may make a comeback of sorts, but I don't expect a major explosion of new energy. I hope we are surprised.
