Out of the guys projected to be in the 20's? The thing about the coaching change is that while Adelman wants to get our offense going, we really don't have any scorers outside of Yao and Tmac. We have alot of shooters, but no scorers. Nobody outside of our Big 2 can actually create their own shot. We rely too much on Rafer or TMac creating off the dribble (mostly TMac) to break down defenses and find the open man. That's why I want Morris Almond or Rodney Stuckey. Two of the most prolific scorers, albeit from small schools, in the draft and both have NBA ready bodies.

Is the NBA Draft on Wednesday, June 27, or Thursday, June 28?

If we get a player in the 20s that is going to contribute right away we will be lucky.

A pick at 26 is almost like a 2nd round flyer, you just pick on potential.

yes, but this draft has been touted as the deepest in years. it is especially deep in SG/SF type players, which we are very weak at. head is a one dimensional player and synder is an athlete that doesnt really do much of anything.

Htown I think you are mistaken. If Vspan and Bonzi come back we have Tmac, Bonzi, Head, Snyder and Vspan who can play the 2. At the SF we have Battier, Tmac, Bonzi, Snyder and Novak who can play the 3. SG/SF is the last position we need help at. PF and PG still remain are strongest needs and if I had my way the PF spot is what I want most. Those guys you mentioned aren't even on my radar.

Would anybody here want a player like a Ryan Gomes or a Corliss Williamson out of this draft. Cuz if you do Jared Dudley would be that guy, he doesn't wow you with athletism, but this kid can really play.

yes...we do have those guys...problem is....theyre not any good. there are NO POWER FORWARDS AVAILABLE AT 26. snyder cant shoot a lick...VSpan is more of a PG than a SG. Bonzi is a PF in a SF body...or at least a very fat SF body. head is just a shooter and nothing more. while we have depth at those positions, its very crappy depth. why reach for a PF or PG when you can upgrade the roster with a true scorer? none of those players can even create their own shot. that's why the offense becomes so stagnant at times. everyone relies so much on tmac or rafer to create. we could go for a PG...but i would rather sign one in FA. it's too much to rely on a rookie PG...especially in this very weak class of PG's. best available player by far will be a SG/SF at our pick unless Rodney Stuckey somehow falls.

we can't rely on bonzi either, especially after last year. he might not even be back. and when tmac is injured/resting on the bench, who do we rely on to put points on the board? when battier is in foul trouble for trying to take charges, who do we put in his place? WHEN 4 FREAKING PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF OUR POINTS IN A PLAYOFF GAME, WHO SHOULD WE PUT IN TO SCORE SOME POINTS? get my point?
