True. We sucked. But, what Stackhouse did was unsportsmanlike, especially for a veteran -- not to mention shoving Yao from behind while Harris clotheslines from the front. I hope December 15 is on everyone's calendar. Our house again.
I LOVE Jerry Stackhouse. I am glad he did that... now maybe (just maybe) the Rockets will get fire up next time they face the Mavs.
He's got balls and he won the games for the mavs. I don't hate him and I wish we have someone like that on the team.
Jerry is a geezer by NBA guard standards. He has to get his numbers anyway he can and at the same time show people he can still throw it down. Remember, this is the same caveman who, as a rookie, said Jordan couldn't stop him one on one.

I completely disagree. Jerry took a high percentage shot at the end ... something the Rockets don't understand. They would rather try showboating by trying to hit ill-advised threes when leading. Jerry did the smart thing and made a 99% shot. McGrady and Alston were shooting 25% shots when we had a lead to showboat and in the end it cost us the game.

I have a new idea for the next game against the Mavs! Bring in Mutumbo for 5 minutes and have him land as many macho man elbows to Mav heads as he possibly can. I mean grab a rebound and clober some folks. I want blood! Stackhouse blood!!! If he did this I would gladly change his nickname from cookie monster to Dikembe Macho Man Mutumbo.
I feel like he was making a statement. Something to the effect of "You guys still suck and cant play with the big boys, chew on this". To have him do that in our house was a slap in the face. He was sending a message.
I have nothing against the Mavs. They played smart and won. We played stupid and lost. It is as simple as that.
