    The Pelicans are 0-8
    The 76ers are 0-7

Sam Hinkie, what have you done? If this doesn't pay off next year with another top 3 pick then tanking will never, ever be considered the answer.

Philly. They are going to redeem themselves from the OT lost from Indy.

Sam Presti? You mean Hinkie, who is not part of the 76ers anymore either.

Philly has been closer in more games than the Pels (and arguably got jibbed on bad missed calls on the final possession), iirc.

They cannot control that fact that Okafor, Noel, Simmons, and Embiid had more injury problems than expected. Yes, Embiid and Noel had 1st season issues, but the extended issues were not expected. Also, a lot of times, it depends on the ping pong balls: luck is a part, what if they had gotten KAT?

They have both the option to switch with Sac + the LA pick. Life is good: you can see the big picture formulating for them.

Plus, how have the other bad teams done so far? Which ones have become contenders? Cleveland got Lebron (lol), Minnesota still stinks, Pels still stink, Nets terrible, Knicks floating in mediocrity. LA has nothing with superstar promise. Kings have sucked for life it seems. The Jazz have made improvements from bottoming out with Exum (although Exum hadn't done much to help improve that), due to the emergence of Gobert & Hayward and improvement of Favors (correct me if I'm wrong). But once again, what is their ceiling? They don't have an Embiid nor Simmons with superstar future looming and are going to be stuck in the competitive but not contenders category.

Jimmie has the Sixers set up. Next year they will have Simmons and Embiid out there together with another young stud and they will be scaryyyyy

The Pelicans today. I can feel it. For two reasons. Firstly I jinxed it and secondly I plan to stay awake and watch this game and whenever I watch either of my teams play live they lose.

Whoops I meant Hinkie, but to be honest Presti ****ed up more since one upon a time he had Durant, Harden, WB, and Ibaka on the same team.

I agree they still have a bright future and if they are ever healthy they might be a trade or two away from being a top 3 or 4 team in the East. Yes, I mean that. But, how can they get better and develop chemistry if they can't stay on the court together? The 2017-18 NBA season might be their year with the right draft/trades.

Philly almost beat the Pacers and the Cavaliers with the power of brotherly love and friendship.

New Orleans needs a god-tier game from AD to even come close.

I was correct. First Dallas then New Orleans. Now wait until Milwaukee plays Philadelphia and they will get their first win too. First wins for all.
