I forget the name of the guy who does 790 after 9am. I think he calls himself "the hurt" but man he went on and on about every job/venture Zeak has been a part of since he left the Pistons and man the list is terrible.

im not sure about that but like i said one team has 6 out of the top 25. and the 29 other teams i guess have the other 19. thats one messed up ratio.

and on top of that the knicks dont have there own picks. while they are tied for the worst record in the league.

if people think the texans franchise is screwed up, you could at least look at the knicks and feel better about your team. :p

i've marveled at this list before and especially at the knicks situation (and that was before they even added rose, curry, and francis).

what's amazing is how many of the top 20 guys not only don't desrve their money, but aren't even close. i mean how was the decision made to make these guys the very highest paid guys? how did those contracts get offered? it almost pisses me off to think of the guys who should be making way more than them but half to see the paycheck they take home every week. i'd almost not wanna pass them the ball if i was their teammate.

what's really amazing is the jalen rose, kvh, eddie jones, brian grant, tim thomas, antonio davis streak b/t tmac and vince. not only do those guys not deserve that money, they don't even deserve a quarter of that money. seriously, name one of them (maybe jalen and tim thomas) who should get even a quarter of what they make. and the bad thing is, they never were even close to deserving this money. i mean with webber, kidd and hill, they were actually badasses at one point before injuries caught up to them and marbury can actually put up 20 and 8 even if he's not worth that much. you could see them getting a big contract. but none of those 6 ever did anything. rose comes the closest to having any real success, but even he hasn't had much. just amazing that they got those contracts.

I guess I can excuse the former stars either injured or just on their way down at the end of their careers.

But there are so many Cato-like contracts where some guy had a great playoff series or a training camp or was just big and a team needed big; these GM's have no-one to blame but themselves.

I hope some of these guys like Cato have invested well because when they come off their LT contract cash will not be quite as abundant the next year.

I should have taken growth hormone as a youth. :D

On the flip side, both Phoenix (Marion at 25 and Nash at 47 and dumping more expensive for less expensive players) and especially San Antonio (Duncan at 11, Parker at 61 and Ginobili at 76) have done a good job with their contracts. Sucks for the Rox. :(

How does Tim Thomas earn a quarter of what he makes but Eddie Jones doesn't?

At least Jones starts and contributes. (And plays, unlike TT)
