Who do you want us to meet in playoffs?

I'll be happy just to be in the palyoffs. I expect to be there, but I'll be happy no matter who we play. I expect to get bounced out in three games. Three tough games, but we just don't have the consistancy to go far in the playoffs.

Nobody wants to play the Lakers in the first round.
Ok maybe Sacramento, but nobody else.

 

I agree with the "I'll be happy just to be in the playoffs" but I don't think we'll get bounced in 3 games. We should sneak in a victory or two.

But we need to win these close games. We should be at least 18-9 right now. You lose 3 winnables and go from 18-9 to 15-12. Big difference.

 

I am not surprised If we do not make playoff or come out of west. Rockets is high potensional team, But yong, and new addtion, Go either way in the wild west is possible. Try to expect low, then you will get extra surprise

 

I know dallas is tough, but I wouldn't be too frightened matching up against them. For the first round though a team like the jazz will do just fine.

I definately don't want to see the kings.

 

I would like to play the Utah Jazz, Pheonix Suns, or Minnesota Timberwolves. Playing the San Antonio Spurs would not be too bad. We would be swept by the Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, or Los Angeles Lakers.

 

I would avoid the Kings and the Lakers. If the Lakers make the playoff, watch out for them. They usually get it toghether when come playoff time. The Kings on the other hand is just a well balance team and they play smart. I rather face the Suns or the Jazz in the first round.

 

i think itspossible that we play the suns in a 4/5 matchup. we can win this series too. but then we will be is the semi finals with dallas....

 

Who cares! That would be the best we have done in three years! But we'll lose to the Mavericks.

 

Spurs and Suns. No Jazz or Timberpups, they always kick our butt.

 

Well if I had my druthers I would go with Denver, Golden State, and Memphis.

 

First, let's get there.

Second -- this is a whole new TEAM. Let the other squads worry about getting matched with The Franchise and The Dynasty. May is a million development minutes away.

So, Rudy -- develop these fellows dynastically!

 

Sure. Our players are going to develop into stars under Rudy.

 

Phoenix, then Dallas, then Sacremento, then the Nets.

 

No one but the Lakers and Spurs has a C that can slow Yao down. Still, I like our chances against ANY team other than Sacramento.

Mavs would have a nightmare facing us. Nowitzki's defense will have no bearing on MoT and Griffin, and Yao is unstoppable. Plus, Francis always torches them.

Anyone but those Kings.

 

Chances are it will be an 8th seed against Dallas or Sacramento.

I do hope they would get a 4th, 5th, or 6th seed, but that just won't happen, not yet at least.

If theymake the playoffs, I'll be ahppy and it will be a HUGE accomplishment. This is like when San Antonio did horribly without Robinson one year and then drafted Duncan. They were back on their feet (Robinson literally) and won it all within 3 years.

First round this year, second or third next, CHAMPIONSHIP IN '05!!!

Heh...I want to meet an Eastern Conference team in the playoffs.

 

Lakers. Because I want this Rockets team to become very well known and respected. And one of the best ways to do that would be to knock off the champs.
