Who do you want to see benched for life? (non-rockets)

    In one of your other teams, who's the guy you want to see take a permanent seat on the pine?

    For me, it's Brian Ross of the BC basketball team. He plays back-up center for us, but gets more minutes than our starter since that guy tends to get in foul trouble.

    Ross has no ball skills, turns it over constantly, can't rebound, doesn't know the meaning of blocking out, and can't defend.

    He's not a terrible shooter, but has no post moves whatsoever.

    He gets time because he plays very hard, and because he stayed at BC after our recruiting scandal when a lot of players ditched. I know that's admirable... but we have a couple guys who play much better.

    We've got a sophomore who's just as big, but already rebounds 20x better and plays superior defense. His shot isn't quite as good... but our guards and starting PF score. Our C isn't asked to.

    And what else? Ross broke Ryan Sidney's frickin' jawbone earlier this year in practice. Before the injury, Sidney was averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists. After? About 12/7/2. See a difference?

    Down with Brian Ross! Who do you guys want to bench?

    I'd like to bench the Big XII referees. They're terrible - at least their roughly consistent in their suckage from game to game, but they need to be fired.

    I agree with you not about Big XII refs but in general.

    Check out this quote (which I agree with): "We're going to miss calls. We're <b>far</b> from perfect." from Steve Welmer, veteran referee he goes on to say something which I dont agree with sometimes, "But I know night in and night out I'll be consistent at both ends of the court."
