    The Coach

    Yao

    Tracy

Or one of the role players?

I was dissapointed in everyone this series, Yao, Tracy, JVG and others. I'm not sure who I want gone. I want to say JVG because that's the easy choice but I'm not sure............

Fire Gundy... he doesn't belong here in the NBA. His style will never win an NBA title... period.

    I say get Elie!

Fire Van Gundy. Trade Shane Battier for a power forward!

Van Gundy cannot inspire greatness. Chalk that up to being stepped on by Alonzo Mourning all those years ago.

McGrady is super-talented but not a floor general. He should be traded now before his back goes out for good.

Yao is the only untouchable. Battier is a preferable keeper. Everyone else is expendable.

The coach is gone for sure. No contract, and after this debacle no way in hell is going to get a new one.

Yao is good, but could be a whole lot better with a coach who does emphasize offense.

JHoward...... OMG, no wonder you are the NBA's posterboy for sucking when it matters most. Buy him out if we can't trade him.

Demote Rafer to backup and bring in a pointguard who can play........or, if we can't get that, at least someone who can shoot.

Head is worth keeping for one more year, only, of course, if he is given specific instructions to learn how to dribble the ball.

Hayes is fine, and he'll probably stay once he realizes he isn't that good unless Yao is there to take all the attention from him.

Battier is fine, I'm sure with a better coach he could be much better on offense. In fact, I'm sure of it. Thats half the problem with the ******* TEAM. Sloan's system makes crappy players look good just because it gives them easy shots.

I love Hayes, and he's probably my favorite Rocket other than the big 2, but it hurts getting only 4 points from that position and we could use an offensive player there to draw some attention off Yao

I don't know about letting JVG go. But I do know this:

    1) We need more outside shooting. Shane had his moments in this series, but that was it. Rafer was his usual crappy self from beyond the arc. And Luther struggled badly. That left T-Mac to pick up the slack and he could never get his jumper going.

    2) We need help at the 4 spot. Chuck Hayes is all heart, but that's the problem. He's all heart. We need someone a few inches taller and who can hit a jumpshot.

    3) We need to upgrade the bench. Luther's a keeper, but Juwan is too old and Deke can't be counted on for any offense. The Rockets wouldn't have run out of gas in the 4th quarter tonight if they had a decent bench that could pick it up for the starters when they didn't have it going.

Do all that and then maybe you give JVG one more shot. But if there's a decent offensive-minded head coach out there(Rick Adelman comes to mind), maybe you think about going in that direction.

    jvg.
    we need fresher legs.
    things we have to remember

    • deke is older
hayes is free agent, even though hes restricted
      morey is a rookie gm
even if we get stronger, so is everyone else
now we watch utah playing against golden states.
dallas and miami are gonna be hungrier than ever
yao and tmac play like their in the 30s, hopefully they get older
we still have that "conflict" with vspan

Hayes should stay, just not be the 1st option PF. That's just a lack of depth.

Tracy's shot selection is very questionable. When the shot falls, he looks like god; when it doesn't, he looks like an ass. Lately he looked like an ass.

also, jerry sloan makes paul misap look like a decent starter. jerry did a wonderful job making misap into a decent player. i'm confident with the right coach, someone can do that to hayes and make luther alot better.

adelman is good with coaching lesser players plus he's a former rockets draftee like rudy maybe history will repeat with him onboard.

I think its time for JVG, Mutombo and J-Ho to move on. Not that they did a bad job for us, but if we can't win a series in the playoffs for 4 years under JVG, its time to shake things up. Mutombo should enjoy his life and be a specator in the stands. He has done a marvelous job for the rockets, especially during the period when yao was out with a broken foot. As many people mentioned already, we need a PG who can make Yao and T-Mac better and can shoot at a higher percent than rafer. Also the 4 position is where we need an upgrade.

Anyhow, JVG, Mutombo and J-Ho did a fabulous job for the rockets. However, i am pretty sure that they will not be in the Rockets organization next year.

I was so angry after that game jumping around my home kicking everything.

As of this minute, I want everyone gone. Out of all the teams we let the Jazz beat us.

We deserved to lose this serious. We Played like **** the whole series.

    Just shoot me now.
