I really wish it would be Yao, but he seems to be a wait your turn kind of guy, so maybe if Tmac sits or is traded, Yao can take over.

With T-Mac still in the team, it's unlikely for someone else to explicitly declare himself as the new leader of the team.

No matter what people say, the answer is definitely Yao.
Tracy is dead. You cant't expect his revival.
Artest is not talented(basketball skill) enough. And He is a fresh man in Houston.
And others have no ability to lead our team.

Howerver, I wonder what Yao is thinking. Unconfident?Shy?Scared of Tracy?

    Yao needs to prove himself.
    Please give him some credit.

lol.. anyone suggesting that Yao possess more basketball skills than Ron Artest has a mental problem or doesn't understand the game of basketball..

as a matter of fact, anyone arguing that Yao even comes close to Artest in terms of skills, heart, intensity, leadership, defense, offense, heck, even post game, should have his/her head checked..

Artest is one of the most underrated and misunderstood players of all time... his basketball skills, clutchness, and ability to carry a team are overshadowed by his amazing defense, and the "bad guy" image that was thrown upon him from that incident in Detroit.. the "thug" image of him formed by the media is really baseless, and listening to him talk several times just made me realize that he's a great human being and an "anti-thug" if you will, he's as far away as you can get from being a bad person..

Yao on the other hand, is the most overrated player of ALL time.. we keep trying to build around him, while in reality, he's just an above average role player that should be used as a "supporting part" rather than the "core" in the building process, nothing more: except for the fact that he brings a HUGE market, which makes him immovable for obvious financial reasons..
