An electrician? I've got a phone jack that suddenly doesn't work. If memory serves, if I call the phone company and the problem is the wiring in the house, don't they charge a ridiculous amount for sending a tech out whether they fix it or not? I remember when I was with AT&T and we always had problems with the phone line that came down from the pole, they would always give some warning like that when setting up an appointment for somebody to come over and fix the problem.
Call anyone from either of the last two Presidential administrations. They'll include the wiretap free!
Do it yourself. Its not that hard. In the very least, pull it off the wall and see if any wires have broken off.
bob mcnair. but when his guy comes out and it ends up you can't even get cell service out of your house when he's gone, he'll still send the same guy back to fix his mistakes.
Don't call the government, or they'l take away your sweets and paring knives. [Insert youtube video and/or article here]
When my kids were younger, my phone jacks quit working. After hours of troubleshooting I found my daughter had stuck something in one of the phone jacks that was shorting out the line. Check all of your empty phone jacks to make sure nothing is in them that shouldn't be if you have small children.
