I know just about everyone's heard that a player or two will be leaving the IR this week, possibly tomorrow. If I'm not mistaken, that also means we will have to cut someone loose. Assuming we keep the guaranteed guys who would you cut?

Lukas would be the one, he plays much less than Hayes

I'd have to agree with that one...Hayes is basically a more versatile, offensive-skilled version of Bowen...

but I bet its Lucas who gets cut...

I guess probably JL3. Hayes has been more impressive lately. I'd like to see a little more of him.

None of the above. Moochie Norris or even Bob Sura if he can't come back this season and will retire afterwards. If there is a chance Sura could return then it's not worth considering.

However, if I must pick out of those three, I've got to go with Lonnie Baxter, but I'd hate to see him go. Chuck Hayes has really impressed me and we've got to keep Lucas because we're really slim on point guards.

Lucas III will be the goner. Although his play has been good, Hayes can offer more to the team and rebounding power forward is the easiest position to pick up on the fly. (unlike point guard)

baxter hasn't done a whole hell of a lot to impress me, chuck hayes is clearly better than he is. i like what lucas brings off the bench. i'd cut baxter and bowen. hell neither one of them are productive.

Lucas did make some heads up plays when he got time...some clutch shots too.

Unless Yao or Swift come back, we need to keep Baxter. He's the 2nd biggest guy currently healthy, behind Deke, so losing him means losing another big body to put up against centers.

    Oh yeah, forgot about that.

I can't believe Bowen has regressed so much this year. He used to be so good!

Baxter didn't seem to do a whole lot until Hayes got here - threatening his longevity with the team...Baxter's solid play (as of late) could also be that TMac returned at the same time - conceivably making everyone "better"...

Unfortunately, I bet we will let JL3 go...

    Can we release Moochie?

Mooch - unless his X-piring contract is tradable for something asset-ic.
JB or BS- if either is fisically phinished

    JL3 - otherwise.

    NBD, actually.

And there's actually somebody voted for Chuck Hayes. I wonder what his/her rationale is.
