I voted for Bud Adams, but two other choices should have been on the poll: Karl Malone and anyone from Dallas.
I'm not really a Houstonian, per se, anymore, so I won't vote, but... I think I can somewhat relieve the hate for Bud Adams. Sure, He did move the Oilers out of town, but that gave way to a new owner (who is MUCH better), and a new team, who is making great strides and is committed to the city. I'm a Texans fan now.
I'd hate Bud Adams a lot more if he would have voted for LA over Houston for the new franchise. It's weird, I just don't feel anything for him anymore. It seems like such a long time ago now. And make no mistake, I was ABSOLUTLY DEVASTATED when the Oilers left. In many ways, I'm still recovering. But it seems like ancient history now. I would say Pujols, but as much as I hate to admit it, he seems like a pretty classy guy off the field. Hard to hate a guy like that. Malone and Stockton are both ringless and gone. They got what they deserved. No rings. Hard to hate them when you don't see them anymore. I guess I'd have to go with Cuban and the mavpricks.
I'm with you on all those things except the Mavs. I hate the Spurs the most because they have outshined the Rockets and are now the best franchise in this state's history with their 3 rings. The reason I can't hate the Mavs as much is the same reasoning you have for not hating Stockton/Malone. They have no rings. That will change this year if they win it all, though. But they won't.
The basic four personality types: "This glass is half empty." "This glass is half full." "This glass is half full... no, wait... half empty... no, wait... oh, darn..." "Hey, where's my Charlie Casserlie option? "
yeah Dallas needed to be on there...Cowboys and Mavericks!!!! Have you guys met my new adopted daughter?
