Griffin appears to have blocked everybody including the peanut vendor... I know at least 1 of his blocks was on Duncan, which is slowly becoming a tradition when these 2 teams meet.
griffin is a beast. i remember after preseason game 1, a couple people saying griffin hadn't improved much since last year. yeah right. 20 blocks in 6 games now plus a ton of confidence in that little 17 footer off the faceup/post-up. 20 years old guys.
Griff looked awesome tonight. He blocked at least 2 of Duncan's shots. His two best moments tonight were: 1.Blocked Duncan's dunk attempt from behind again, and 2.He jumped ooohhhh so high to intercept a lob pass. Both brought loud ooooooohs and aaaaaaaaahs from the Spurs fans.
Ya know.....by all the "stuffing" griffin brought to the game, you'd think it was Thanksgiving already...........but shhh nobody tell the kid he's early (i was either going for this joke........or to have Griffin on the SWAT team.............but i had to pick one, and i stand by my choice )
The thing that is so great about Griffin's blocks as others have mentioned (including the commentators), is the fact that he keeps them in play. I like the midrange face up shot he's added and the bank shot he's been using as well. On one play he even dribbled the ball through which is good to see.
Theo Ratliff had 6 in one game the other day, but I don't know about other games. Guys, tonight, Ming, Griffin and Cato combined for 9 blocks against non other than Twin Towers and co. How do you like that? BTW, Ginobili is really looking terrible so far. I mean, it's not even up and down. It's just down it seems. Unfortunately, it's the same with Boki right now .

Yao Ming's presence is going to allow EG even more opportunity to play the block and provide weakside help. Opponents will be looking for Yao Ming and EG will take advantage of that.
Cant wait until Ming really gets more acclimated to the NBA. Him and Ming on the floor together are going to be monsters in the paint. Only the bravest of the brave shall enter. Block party here we come.
If Ming and Griffin come out of this season with the experience they need to be consistent starters, then we're on our way to becoming contenders. Ming Griffin ------- >> can this be Boki? Mobley Francis Who's the perfect 3 for that lineup? Personally, I think someone with Pippen-like skills would make that team....well....One of the best teams this league has seen.
Yeah, Griffin is looking better and better on both ends of the court. Seems much more comfortable with the mid-range jumper. Yeah........why is it that every game, the stat sheet will rob Griffin out of a couple blocks?
