Trump is a generational Lebron/Wilt/Shaq level prospect. aside from that, literally anyone would do better…Biden’s brain in a jar wouldn’t have fcked up the economy this badly and as per usual, if a Dem wins in 2028, they’ll have to spend 75+% of their 1st term just trying to fix the steaming pile of sh*t a republican left them with imagine if a Dem handed over your typical worthless republican a republican economy aka a fcking disaster like Bush gave Obama and Trump gave Biden…Do you think these morons could ever even come close to handling it?
There's a lot of big @ssholes out there that would engage in the same type of petty power trip bull**** and lazy low IQ "its just common sense" thinking that defines Trump. Millions of Americans watch Fox News every night and think trans black jewish communists wont be happy until they succeed in turning them gay and live culture war paranoia 24/7. As disgusting as he is Trump is a pretty average slice of the dregs of humanity. I went 10:1, mostly because I think a bunch of the deplorables wouldnt have the ridiculous overconfidence that Trump radiates, but I have a pretty low opinion of the "average human" so my thinking may be overly generous. But just think of all the giddy mouthbreathers you see being interviewed at Trump rallies, for instance, being elevated to POTUS... Narcissistic Personality Disorder is officially estimated to affect between .5% and 1% of the population though there are apparently studies that suggest closer to 5% of the population. I imagine a bunch of Trump's worst ideas come from listening to Heritage Foundation/Project 2025 types. I further imagine those same people would still be whispering in the ear of many of the the-men-on-the-street who were elevated to POTUS. Trump is nothing special. He's a very average example of human trash. I do think that someone in an actual coma for 4 years would do an infinitely better job. But I also believe he's being led around by much more serious, much more evil men, like Peter Theil or Steven Miller.
As others alluded to "better" isn't the right question anymore. In his first term, Trump looked incompetent in addition to evil. Trump 2 is much more competent and more evil. Comparing Trump to the populace, I think maybe 1% could match his efficacy, but an even smaller number has the gall to **** up his own country like Trump does. Picking a rando off the street would probably result in a completely ineffectual leader, but ineffectual is better than this option.
How funny, a friend of mine asked me what I thought the landscape would look like if Nikky Haley had won the nominee.................at this point I would be 100% positive she would have at least followed most of the rules, not taxed the Americans with stupid ass tariffs, not made us the laughingstock of the world and would not tweet racist "jokes", but the biggest thing she would not have done is alienated half the country by telling us he doesn't care about his opponents........................she would have done "normal" and TBH I would have been upset by team didn't win, but at this point I would welcome her with open arms and we have 3 more years of this......................cant wrap my head around what we will look like when we come out of this

This serves as a good Rorschach test. Less than 20% of Americans serve in some form of management/leadership - that means 80% couldnt run a shift manager at Burger King, much less lead the most powerful country in the world. Hiw many of you could execute an order to kill a group of people, possibly innocent people? Come to think of it, some if you would happily kill someone you disagreed with.
IDK.....regarding the poll. But I do think all the businessmen and lawyers that have infected the presidency, congress, and C-suites are a net negative for the well being of a country. Companies like Boeing and Intel used to have engineers in charge and in more positions at the top.
