I actually do that. Since I'm in Texas, I just don't give a vote to the winner.

Didn't reply because my candidate, who happens to be on the ballot on all 50 states, was left out of the poll.

I put someone else and will be voting for Stewart Alexander. His nomination took place right here in Los Angeles.

Feel free to vote for me this go around. If I got four or five votes, I would giggle myself to death.

Sorry for the off topic, but you live in LA? How did you end up being a Rockets fan living there? It must be tough living in Laker land being a Rockets fan.

What's the point in Texas... we know who's going to win.

It's my first presidential election. I'm debating whether I pull the classic teen voting mistake (and vote for a 3rd party) and throw my vote away. Or vote for Obama (who I supported in '08 but am very unhappy with). If I do the latter, I have to decide whether I'll actually tell people I voted for him (my parents are die-hard GOP).

I'm going to write in Jeremy Lin.
Either way it doesn't matter. The vote is a throwaway vote since Texas is guaranteed to go Red.

Throwaway or not, casting your vote is something everyone should do. It's a good feeling.

Neither can make a difference when Congress is run by banks and corporations.
Would've rather voted for Paul Ryan or Condoleza Rice, they seem more activist, less politician.

I'm in Texas and I know my vote doesn't count but it will be my great honor and privilege to again cast my ballot for Barack Obama.
