For those who are still going to watch the playoffs, which team do you want to win now and state your reason why. I'd like to see either the Suns or Bulls win. Suns because Nash is one of my favorite players and Bulls because I love the make-up of their team.
San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons They have to show that half-court inside-out offense + suffocating defense is still the formula for championship
Golden State Warriors because I live in the bay area. You know what, for some reason, I don't hate the Jazz as much now as I did before. It's weird. Maybe it was Carlos Boozer's down to earth interview. Maybe it was the fact our team deserved to lose. The Rockets were so bad they deserved to lose and I am happy they did. Hopefully change comes this season.
The Spurs. They are the best coached team on both end. They will win championship this year. They like to win championship in alternate year.
When was the last time u watch the Spurs. They are not boring and they are not too entaining too. But they are just beauty. They can run and score and they can also control the tempo. They are always the top 2 teams in defense. They are the "almighty" spurs.
The Spurs are like watching black and white television. And ironically their colors are black and white...
I'm a lifetime Browns/Cavs fan. I'm aware they don't have a great chance, but the East is weak enough that they still have a chance to make the finals. I know everyone hates the Cavs/Lebron for a multitude of reasons, believe me I've been on that side of the fence most of my life. But now a team I root for is actually getting lots of media attention so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. On the West I'll probably root for GS over Utah, and SA over the Suns. GS has stolen everyone's hearts w/ their upset. And I'm not convinced small ball can win a championship until it actually happens, thus SA. Plus the Rockets are more similar to SA than the Suns so I'd like to believe we still have a very solid formula here.
Suns. I live in there state now and get lots of exposure, plus they are fun to watch. Nash is the best team player in the game and he has some individual game on top (more than say Stockton or Kidd who might come to mind). I would have routed for them versus anyone other than the Rockets (Rockets fan all my life). GS would be an easy next choice, Love the aggressive athletic style and team unity. Also, lived in the Bay Area 2+ years sawa rook Mobley get a Barkley pass for a trfecta in the last seconds (Charles, did you have confidence in the rookie? "No, not at all, I passed it to him because he was wide open"). The Bay Area Rocks. Don Nelson shoved it up you know whose butt. They play fun and free. After that most paltable is Det or Cleveland. But I really think it is better 50/50 Phx-SA series decides the winner, Det is the only other team who could get in either teams' way.

Nobody because I am a Rockets Fan and not a Fan of any other Team. Interest in the Playoffs just dropped about 95%. Final result will be interesting and I expect it to be a big surprize for most .
I also want to see Nash get his crack at a title. I posed this question to my roommate (lifelong, die-hard mavs fan, even when they were in last place): "Hey Matt, should we root against San Antonio out of spite?" "Nah, someone's gotta represent Texas."
I'm rooting for GS against Utah. but I don't think GS can beat either Spurs or Suns. So I'm rooting for Spurs to win it all cause I don't wanna see run and gun no defense style of basketball to win it all.
Bulls. I love their players. Hinrich, Deng, Gordon are some ballsy players. They are a ton of fun to watch.
I want a suns warriors western conference finals. I hate the slow it down boring basketball the rockets play. I want to see 130-120 games.
I'm rooting for GS because I like their style of basketball. But realistically I am picking Suns to go all the way. They were my realistic pick before the season started
