    1) chris paul

    2) pau gasol
    3) rondo
    4) dwight howard
    5) derrick rose (people under-estimate how poor they are offensively without boozer - he's carrying a really large offensively load)

but paul would win in unanimous fashion if the voting ended today

Y'all have pretty good lists. You could throw Milsap, Westbrook and someone from the Spurs up there too probably.

Pretty hard to make the argument that LeBron is more valuable to that team than Wade

Wow some people have Luis Scola on their list...........

Luis is not even close to winning an MVP on a 3-8 team.

if you look at +/- and their roles on the team, lebron is clearly the best player on that team.

Russell Westbrook is a dark horse right now, easily.

In no particular order: Chris Paul, Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard, Rondo (fifth spot in blank)

A bit early but as of right now it seems most lists are point guard heavy. If Chris Paul can drag the Hornets to close to 50 wins, it should be his award to lose. That is, unless someone else averages a triple double and leads their team to 70 wins.

Wonder how much these lists will change by all star break then by the end of the season.

you can't be an MVP candidate and let scrubs like Darko Milicic and Robin Lopez have career games against you

I think right now wade has more chance to get the MVP than lebron.

I like chris paul a lot, he is playing great. Rondo is playing amazing too.
