They are people who are anti-the other party. Ya know Basso on one side and guys like Jo mama on others.

They are like racists in that they just assume that the other side is lacking in some other way which makes them lower to their own side.

The question is - how do you defeat politicstism?

what the hell? since when have i been a democrat?

i have equal contempt for both parties, however if you are going to force me to choose sides i am with the true conservatives, which george bush is not a part of.

how is india this time of year?

i thought you had me on ignore? i guess that is only when you see i am disagreeing with you or are calling you out for lying.

thats amusing ... i've always found you to be one of these "policist"... as you put it. Then again ... many of the posters in this forums strike me this way.

You might be a politicist if...

    1. You spend more than three hours a day reading D&D.

Really, that's interesting since I don't espouse any political platform...

I don't think we are using the word "politicist" correctly, that just means a political writer.

The polarization of the parties in the hateful way we see today started it's most recent incarnation, in 1994 when the Republicans took the Senate, they attacked Clinton from the word go. If you ever watched FOXNEWS during Clinton’s time in office it was the all attack network.

Then we saw the rise of the Carl Rove style of politics, which is fear and hate to win elections.

Then we had the neocons in office who wanted to just steam roll any opposition, Tom Delay, Rumsfeld, Chaney, without an debate, a lot of times didn't even give bills to congressman to read just plow it through with a fall in line majority.
