Michael Lewis calls Battier the "No Stats All Star." Who do you think is the anti-Battier (i.e. if he collides with Battier, they will mutually anniliate each other)?
Ricky Davis? Are you thinking of guys that play no D like Amare, or no stats all stars like Mo Williams
Antoine Walker (Grizz this year...at least for part of it I think) Shareef Abdur Rahim if he were still around Ricky Davis is a great pick Marbury as well Juwan Howard in his prime years Keith Van Horn when he was around Tim Thomas Larry Hughes
T-Mac He got too close to Battier during practice and hurt his knee. Imagine if they would have bumped into each other instead....
If you're going by that criteria...Dirk can't be alone. Because of this guy... Luckily, Tim Duncan turned into basketball player.
I don't know what criteria we're going by here... ...i guess Jamal Crawford? He has never played in the playoffs. I don't know if that's a record but that might make him the biggest loser in the NBA.
I think you may be a little confused on this one. What they mean is the players that put up nothin but stats but can't get anything done besides that. You meant this as a compliment, correct? Caron has been to an All Star game and the playoffs.
Yah i did. The meaning no stat superstar to me means the guy who doesn't put up huge stats. I don't know, Caron just seems incredibly underrated.
Mike James in his year in Toronto immediately came to mind. I think that's a good example for this thread. I remember everyone being so pissed we traded him, then he flamed out after getting the big contract in Minnesota.
