Have you attempted to join this site? I've actually never been a part of any minority organization that actually excluded others. Chances are you'd get on, just might have a little difficulty getting dates. That's right, she should only have to deal with the subtle stuff like the rest of us!
At least it is going in the right direction, racism will exist I think until we are all just one big pile of mixed race.... Or we get attacked by Aliens and realize that we are all that we have ! DD
I'm the first to fight against the 'PC police" as it were, but there is no redeeming value to holding on to this worthless "relic" of horrible days past. This guy doesn't have a leg to stand on. If he likes it, he can hang it in his room. Looks like it's gone anyways, good.
I don't see a problem with collecting artifacts of our racist past. Displaying them in public without comment is more problematic, and putting them in your place of business is indefensible. And then insisting on your 'white rights' mostly destroys whatever benefit of the doubt you might have otherwise enjoyed. You don't have as much freedom of speech in the commercial market.
Juan, The question I would have is why anyone would swim there, I would never let my kids swim there and would let the owner know about it. DD
