    Thanks Elon.
Bernie Sanders never thought of this.

I would love to be a Cyborg so I can crush my enemies.

Very cool and he needs help. Musk said the purpose of the first and this 2nd event was to recruit talents.

Guess what’s the most difficult problem they are facing? Material engineering - how to insulate wires to last 10 years in the brain.

What makes you think the technology wouldn't be used to control you? Does Google, Facebook Cambridge Analytica and Chinese facial recognition and social ranking not teach you anything?

Joe Rogan always talks about how with this we'll be able to read people's minds.

I don't think we want to read each other's minds. With as hurt as people get over words, it'll be a disaster. And women don't want to read men's minds.

    Otherwise, cool stuff.

It's been done. Season 5 of the X files: 'Kill switch'. How many ideas is he going to steal. Stole 2001 Wolfenstein's gun for his company's name. But like they say, a good artist borrows. A great one steals.

Or maybe he was but Skynet had had enough of his nonproductive behavior and dissidence. All negative units must be eliminated.

Once you read minds, its a small step to going the other direction.

Not looking forward to waking up with a sudden, burning need to buy a new Tesla every six months.

Of the futuristic Sci-Fi worlds, I always thought the Ghost In the Shell universe would be the most likely. Cybernetic bodies will be amazing for paraplegics with full mental faculties and likely even people with functioning bodies but degenerative disorders that give symptoms like seizures.

Can you image how awesome your jump shot would be if your release and aim were controlled by the computer chip ?

Drill a hole and put a computer chip in your brain, what could possibly go wrong?

A big no thanks from me. Seems like rocket fuel for a dystopian nightmare. I can't imagine how people could ever trust a company enough with that type of technology.

That would actually suck. The whole point of human sports is the work someone puts into their skill, and the competition. This would be like putting the sliders in a video game to make 100% of your shots, that's no fun.

transforming humans into super beings is the way to save the world and ultimately conquer new ones

But Musk's vision is far more radical, including ideas like "conceptual telepathy," where two people can communicate electronically by thinking at each other instead of writing or speaking. The long-term goal is to head off a future where artificial intelligence vastly smarter than humans exterminates us.

I don’t need a brain implant to realize that Tesla stock is fire

poor Bernie Sanders is angry every time Elon makes a billion in a day

He wants to tax us smart investors too
