Tomorrow, business takes me to DFW for the next week or two. I will be in FW until Thursday but the more likely scenario will have me there at least Wednesday at which time I will leave until Sunday when I'll then be in Dallas. This coming week I will only be in meetings for the first half of the day and free the rest. Any suggestions on thing to do? Next week I was thinking about catching the Astros or the A's there. How far away is Arlington from Dallas (Dallas Convention Center area) ?
Arlington's about 15 minutes or so from downtown Dallas, where I assume the convention center is. Man, we should try to hook up sometime this week for the CWS.
It's (Arlington) not all that close, but it's relatively easy. You just take I30 (Tom Landry) to the Ballpark. Takes me 15 to 20 minutes to go from downtown to the Ballpark area usually, but I don't go at high traffic times.
That is what I am looking for! Where is a good place to catch the games and hang out, grab a drink or few... Are tickets pretty accessible?
Well, if you're in Fort Worth during this week, we could meet up in Arlington. If you're coming to Dallas next Sunday, that'd be a nice time to meet up for hopefully the clinching game!
I tell you what, I just looked at my itenerary and found out that I am arriving in Dallas Saturday afternoon, that may be even better.
