Of course there is a better way. It's called patience.

The best solution is a trade that brings back a Herschel Walker-like package that the Rockets can use to fortify their roster.

I think there's another way. Yao is GOING to become a dominant player. At this stage he is not ready to be the center of the offense where the Rockets dump it into him every time down the floor. Some nights he looks like he is that player but he is not there yet. I think the Rockets should start the game by dumping it into him and stick with it if it is working. If it's not working, as has been the case lately, mix in some pick-n-rolls and top of the key shots for him. I think Francis needs to be the main option when Yao is not on his game. I notice that they sometimes use Jim Jackson to bring the ball up the court and run the offense. Why not do that more and have Steve, cat and pike come off picks or cut to the basket and get better looks. This will tire out steve and cat's man and will change the flow of the game alittle. Francis has struggled with his shot this season but has started to pick it up again. Peace.
