2005 was worse. We had that series if not for Cuban's complaint to officials about illegal screens. Yao was put under a microscope after first 2 games. Not to mention the Salvatore and Finley out of bounds missed call. That team had tough minded role players and had heart. This team lacked soul. Never could get too much into them and I knew they were flawed from the very beginning. Not really that disappointed that this team lost because I saw it coming and quiet honestly they lost to a Jazz team that deserved to win.
this series we were supposed to win. home court advantage, against a lower seeded and younger team. we took a complete nose dive, and utah had their way with us in every game. the bench often curled up in the fetal position. in the dallas series we were the dog, so it gives some of us an easy excuse. in this series we overachieved and played better (except for game 7)
