If you could pick any NBA team to move to Seattle and become the new Seattle Supersonics, which would it be and why?

I vote the Clippers. LA doesn't need two teams.

It has to be Memphis or New Orleans. Neither city has any business having an NBA team, especially Memphis with it's pathetic owner. I betcha someone buys the team from him and moves it to Seattle.

Plus they could market the team extensively to both Seattle and Vancouver (the Grizzlies' old home, only a few hours away).

Are you kidding me? Toronto has a great record of support PLUS you'd be cutting off the entire Canadian viewership...that move would be ridiculous!

Why doesn't New Orleans deserve a team? They originally had one and had it stripped away by the NBA and the Owner... New Orleans was always a Basketball city until the Jazz moved. New Orleans has also produced one of the best basketball players ever. Long Live Pistol Pete!!

New Orleans IMO has more of a right to a basketball team than Utah does.

Dallas. Only fitting since we hate them so much and we hated the sonics back in the 90s. Doubt Cuban will ever move them though.

You have to admit Utah's insane fans love their team and create quite the home-court advantage. Utah is always near the top in attendance. They also have a flaky owner but he is very committed to winning.

When I think of New Orleans (and Louisiana as a whole), it's all about football. LSU and the Saints. I don't think they would hardly miss the Hornets at all if they left. Attendance kind of shows that. I think your feelings are the exception and not the rule. Just from my experience, none of the people I deal with in business or personal matters give a flip about the Hornets. On the other hand, close to 100% of them are very strong LSU football fans and the vast majority of them care about the Saints.

I'm sorry about the Jazz experience.

    Bobcats or Grizzlies or Hornets.

Not sure why they put another team in Charlotte. yes it was unfair that they lost the Hornets because George Shinn was a douche, but that disregards the fact that Charlotte is Nascar/college BB country where nobody cares about the NBA.
