The Heat are the two-time defending NBA champs and on their way to a three peat. Which team do you believe is second best in the NBA?

    Spurs & Nets are 3 & 4, then Pacers/Rockets/Thunder are 5-6-7.

Thunder are not better. Each year they are getting worse. Their number one priorioty is to now make sure Jeremy turns into something. He's their chance, and their lone asset.

Spurs basically played the Heat even in the Finals. Gotta pick them.

Gotta go with the team that almost won it all.

Thunder is not the same team that faced the Heat in the Finals.

After the Harden trade, they've been weakened.

I see them in the top five, but they are no longer the second best team in the league.

The Spurs are getting older and older as we speak.

I don't think they'll have another shot on the championships.

The Nets is a great team right now.

But they have a short window to win the championships with their aging roster.

The Bulls can also be identified as a threat due to Rose and Noah.

Clippers and the Warriors have a strong roster as well.

Of course, our team is also up there.

    I don't know.

There is really no consensus number two as of right now.

Once the season starts, we'll find out.

Spurs were one Ray-Allen-Missed-3 away from winning a championship in 6 games. Gotta go with them.

Miami won't even be 2nd in its conference, much less the whole league. Not sure if trolling.

Lame that so many people picked Houston. I'd say San Antonio or Indiana. Followed by OKC.

We say the Spurs are too old every year. And I feel the same way this year... but I voted for them because they played a great finals series and only lost in the final minutes.

#2 is not so clear in the crystal ball right now. I don't think a Kidd-coached Nets team is going to be as big of a threat as people think. I have to believe the Pacers will keep getting better.

The Rockets are a big wild card and I like to temper my expectations, but now is a great time to make some noise.

Spurs. Was shocking to see Manu **** the bed like that. If he even plays remotely decently they should've won.

Alot of Homers voting. I sw the Rockets are top 4 or 5 in the west and that isn't a bad thing since any team in the top 5 of the west can reach the WCF and Finals. 2nd best team in the league is the Spurs until Duncan turns into what Jason Kidd turned into last postseason.

It's a Rockets board, what do you expect? I could not take them out, because it is not clear who the second best team in the NBA is. The Spurs are the safe pick, but who knows. Father time has already bit Ginobili and we all thought Duncan would be first.

I think if Rockets mesh they are.

Spurs I think have enough to get past OKC and Houston.

OKC will miss Harden. Unless someone else steps up, Ibaka, Durant, and Westbrook isn't enough.

Bulls WOULD BE if Rose gets back to pre ACL form, too big a question mark with the way he plays.

    Rockets. We have it all.

Lin. Harden. Parsons. Asik or Jones. Howard (Best starting 5)

Bev. Williams. Garcia. Jones or Asik. (A great back up 4).
