MIA has momentum right now, maybe we seen the breakout-games.

Playoffs are a different story. Kobe will take it to another level and will his team into the Finals. Bulls come out of the East. They are the best team in the league in my opinion. So Lakers vs. Bulls and I take Lakers in 6.

I hate the Celtics and the Lakers with a passion, but I'll be shocked if they don't meet in the finals. Miami can't beat Boston in a 7 game series. And the Spurs aren't as good as their record suggests. The Bulls and Thunder need some seasoning before i consider them threats. Dont make me laugh bringing up the Magic or Mavericks

If I was a betting man (like, for instance, I was a dirty referee), I think I'd go with the Lakers.

although most of us are rooting for the bulls (including me) you cant bet your money on them because they will have to get pass boston, miami, possible even orlando.

    my choice is boston.

    This is Derrick Rose's year.

    I'd bet on Chicago.

    1. No way LA beats Boston two years in a row.
    2. Boston has a perfect match-up against the Spurs....(Rondo vs Parker; ability to outscore Ginobody; defense on Duncan; better bench; veteran team) and we haven't even mentioned Pierce, yet, or SAS's ability to get past LA.
    3. If Miami beats Boston and gets to the Finals, they will be steamrolling the NBA at that point, like they just did to LA and SAS.

imo, for reasons above, I don't see anyone other than Boston or Miami winning.

Easily Lakers. Better team that won it all last year (deeper bench with Barnes/Blake).

Celtics don't have the bigs to hang. Miami doesn't have the depth to hang. Chicago doesn't have the experience to hang. Spurs are too damn old.

The Celtics shot themselves in the foot with the Perkins trade. Chicago is too inexperienced. Miami is a cry game waiting to happen. SA is old an not built for the playoffs. Dallas is one player away (had Caron Butler not get injured it could have been interesting).

The Lakers are winning it all again. Sadly.

If not for Garnett's knee, Boston would have the last three rings and heavy favorites to four-peat. But they traded away Perkins which I think will be their downfall. I picked the Bulls, don't even know why.

It won't be flashy, but it will be consistent and methodical. Spurs.
