Yeah, I know some of you are going to answer Yao with this poll. That's fine. But I'm really talking about once Yao recovers and shows more true to form. He's obviously still knocking the rust off, but the skills are still there. But I'd like to see the results. Which starter is the weakest starter that we could make the most significant upgrade by replacing with another player on the current roster?
The only position where I think there's any significant dispute who the starter should be is SF. I guess there are still some who would like Lowry to start over Brooks, but I sense that they are a diminishing minority. I would love for Courtney Lee to play so well that second-guess starting Martin over him, but I doubt that will happen. Martin is going to be a highly-efficient, 20 ppg scorer.
I understand everyone wants Battier out of the starting 5 but putting in Chase isnt the answer....Chase plays well with Lowry and Lee however is not that productive with AB and Martin
i'd want to show all the players the same courtesy. CBud will start at some point, time & perhaps talent are on his side. the 'start Bud posse' could wait for games that provide clearer evidence that his time is now. not gonna happen i know ...
