I was watching Professional bowling at Jason's Deli at lunch and thought I'd don't think their is a sport that I would least like to be a professional in THEN I remember that my friend in college was SEMI PRO in FOOSBALL Yea. . . the table soccer game When he told me he was Semi-Pro My reaction was. .. Don't tell anyone else that I vote Foosball Rocket River
i dont think wait i know i wouldnt want to be a professional eater. i love food but that does not look fun to me.
Of the three major sports I think I'll pass on playing football. Don't get me wrong I loved playing football when I was younger but to much strain on the body plus to gauranteed contracts. Either playing baseball or basketball would be freaking great
boxing. you risk big time brain damage later in life, if not while you're still boxing, b/c afterall, your job is to get hit in the head a lot. you could potentially die in the ring. and i'm guessing unless you're way at the top, you aren't seeing those multi-million dollar fights. even if you made a really solid amount, you'd have some don king guy taking all your money and then like i said, the quality of life in later years probably makes being a football player look great.
Whatever the hell that polo game was that John Rambo and the Taliban used a dead-ass goat to play in Rambo III.
I dont like to play in the NHL, all the punches and kicks they give, and you have to carry all the equipment all game.
Just had a luncheon with the President of the Houston Dynamo. Their salary cap is 2 million dollars for all 18 players!!!!!! Ouch! When they were in San Jose California (the team was previously there) most of the players couldn't afford a house!
That's an average of over $100,000 per player. Not too bad considering, I think. Boxing is my vote, though I suppose there are a couple of sports where you're paid to injure and be injured by others. I'd take foosball over that in a second, except that I'm pretty sure foosball isn't a sport.
please tell me thats not a pro sport. anyway, i hate golf the most but at least the $ is good ... so i'd agree with the pro eater suggestion. (even though it doesn't qualify as a sport in my book)
Man, in the late '70's I ruled at foosball. Would love to get paid for it. I played the back most of the time, but also had a wicked angle shot from the 3-bar. It'd also be blast being a good pro bowler. Bowl a little, get paid for it, have a beer, pizza and nachos. What's not to like? There are a lot of quasi-sports I would never do... monster trucks, that motorcycle thing where they race on ice, arm-wrestling, pro wrestling (I have this thing about grappling with big, partially dressed, sweaty extroverts), etc. Also, as much as I like fishing, I think being a pro fisherman would get really boring. It's great if you only do it every so often, but if you had to do it 4-5 times a week, it'd be a drag... plus, I don't like to get up early on a consistent basis.
