So looks Bonzi will not play playoffs games, and which other players will be cut from Rockets playoff squad?

you need to have 10 on the playoff roster correct?

i think then you have bonzi, sura, novak, vspan, and either jl3 or jake on the 'inactive'

jl3 and jake being the 10/11 man that i think you can rotate on the inactive list

Uh...semi-tough choice between Novak and V-span. I'll go with Novak though, since we can't just depend on Rafer pulling an ironman and going like 40 mins a game. Some insuarance, however small it might be, is better then none.

Oh wait, wrong number of people and I forgot JL3. Ugh, man, I'm in a bad posting slump XD

VSpan, Novak, Big Jake get cut.

We might need JL3 once in a while.

After Bob Sura and Bonzi Wells, there's 13 players left. All will be eligible to play in the playoffs (13 player limit). Novak, Spanoulis, and Jake will probably play sparingly, if at all.

i think you're allowed 12 players for the playoffs.

    yao-deke-jake
    hayes-howard
    shane-snyder
    tmac-luther
    rafer-lucas-billy

sura, bonzi, novak will be inactive.

I can see Novak coming in for the last second shot of the game, Yao passing to him in the corner opposite Battier, and hearing nothing but gasps and silence from the Dallas crowd as the "swish" of the shot echoes throughout the arena. Ballgame, Rox advance.

It's a 13 man roster with 1 being made inactive at least 1 hour prior to game time. I would guess that Novak would be #12 to have that extra shooter just in case. Billy just doesn't bring anything that would be useful in the playoffs...doesn't shoot well, turns the ball over too much, etc.

um Big Jake no way in hell they would put him above anyone. They got him because of the CHANCE Yao gets hurt again. With Deke + Yao no way in hell Jake is not going on inactive.

As much as I wanted to see VSpan play during the season, he would probably be my pick. At least we will get to see him play against Utah in last game of the season. :)

Funny part is he played tonight because Yao was resting and Deke got hurt a little.

Unfortunately, I think Novak will be the odd man out. He doesn't suit up for games, even with Bonzi gone. :(

it'll depend on who we're playing. Against SA or somethin, Jake is definitely active.. so it'll be between Span and Novak based on how the series is going. Against PHX, Jake will probably be on the inactive list...no reason for him to paly.

DAL, UTA? not sure. I'm guessing it's Novak for Game 1 at least.

    Question guys:

I have a job where I work on the weekends (off Mon and Tues), I REALLY want to see the playoff games when they start. Anyone know what day/times the Rocks/Jazz will be playing this coming weekend? I need to arrange my schedule.

That's exactly what I was going to say. If anything, Rockets need to activate all their players. They might still be one short. I'm not even sure who's on the roster anymore, lol.
